Jean Miller - Counselling in Muswell Hill

I am a highly experienced psychotherapist, working with a broad range of issues, including anxiety and depression. I specialise in Psychosexual and Relationship therapy, assertiveness training and in communication skills. I use an integrative humanistic approach, drawing on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Gestalt, Transactional Analysis and Existential Psychotherapy.

I have been working in private practice in Muswell Hill for more than 11 years. Since September 2008, I have also been working as a counselling supervisor for a charity, and also in my private practice.

I am registered with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), and also an Accredited Member of the British Association for Sexual and Relationship Therapy (BASRT) and a Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I am bound by each organisation’s codes of ethics and practice and subject to their complaints procedures.

I hold a Post-graduate Diploma in Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy (with Distinction) from the Whittington Hospital and South Bank University and a Certificate in Advanced Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy. I also have a Diploma in Working with Adolescents from Westminster Pastoral Foundation and a Diploma in Supervision and Consultancy from The Grove. I have also trained in Counselling and Psychotherapy at Regent’s College, London.
